Since 2006, The EduAction Forum had successfully created a public platform for the discussion of strategic education issues. It had become a meeting point between education policymakers and leading figures in the public sector, technology, business, academy, media and the arts.
The conference also deals extensively with the role of education in the Arab-Israeli conflict. Inevitably, Eyal’s research whilst at King’s College will be focusing on the role of education in solving conflicts.
Eyal is a LLB graduate from the Herzelia Interdisciplinary Center (IDC). Since 2002 Eyal is happily partnered with Elad. As a gay activist Eyal was the CEO (volunteer) of IGY, the Israel’s gay youth organization (NGO).
Eyal’s research whilst at ICSR focused on how the role of education can solve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, with a focus on creating successful co-existence. Through researching both Israeli and Palestinian history textbooks Eyal offers a unique perspective on how a change in curriculum could bring about lasting peace and trust on both sides.
