Joshua Sinai PictureDr. Sinai is a Programme Manager for Counterterrorism Studies at The Analysis Corporation in McLean, VA. As part of his duties, he manages a project that surveys the landscape of terrorism and counterterrorism studies in the U.S. and internationally, including the production of a "primer" on radicalisation. Dr. Sinai specializes in forecasting terrorism, for which he has developed a 31 indicator based warning methodology to forecast terrorist warfare ranging from "conventional" to CBRN, as well as new terrorism trends. Dr. Sinai's publications include articles and chapters in edited academic volumes, national security journals, and newspapers. His column on Terrorism Books appears regularly in the Washington Times, Sunday book review and weekday op ed sections. Dr. Sinai holds an MA and PhD in Political Science/Comparative Politics from Columbia University.
