Dr. Sheikh Mohammed Mohammed Ali is a Shi'ite scholar of Islamic Theology and History and a mechanical engineer by training, with a BSc, MA, and PhD. He has had ample experience within UN agencies and is a human rights and political activist. He is a member and leader of the National Consensus Alliance, the Iraqi Reconstruction Group, Forum2020, and other NGOs. An Iraqi by birth and frequent visitor to Iraq, he is currently a resident of the United Kingdom. He has attended and lectured in numerous conferences in Europe, the United States, Africa, Asia, as well as many Arab and Muslim countries.
