Mr. Nahar is Director of Policy Planning and Research at the Jordanian Foreign Ministry. Before he began working for the Foreign Ministry, Mr. Nahar was an Advisor and the Director of the Political Department at the Office of the Prime Minister. Prior to that, he was Director of the Office of the Minister of the Royal Hashemite Court where he stayed for two years. During this time, he led the minister's communications, managed his staff and was a member in the Strategy and Programming Committees of His Majesty's Office. As a career diplomat, Mr. Nahar served at the Jordanian embassy London (2000-2004), he was in charge of the Israel Desk at cabinet of the Minister of Foreign Affairs (1999-2000) and was one of the two Jordanian diplomats to open the embassy in Tel Aviv, where he stayed until 1999, and was entrusted to set up and operate the embassy. Mr. Nahar attended the University of Jordan (1986-1990), where he received a BSc in Political Science and Business Administration.
