Roy Eidelson is a clinical psychologist and president of Eidelson Consulting. He is the former Executive Director of the Solomon Asch Center for Study of Ethnopolitical Conflict at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Eidelson received his AB in Psychology from Princeton University in 1975 and his PhD in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1979. His primary research interests focus on how certain beliefs contribute to healthy or destructive relationships and serve to trigger or maintain conflict between individuals and groups. Dr. Eidelson is an associate member of the Penn Program in Ethnic Conflict and a research associate in the Department of Psychology at Bryn Mawr College.
