ICSR was delighted to be hosting an event for Magnum Photos’ new publication, “A Brief Visual History in the Time of ISIS.” Featuring forty iconic images from the Magnum archive, this photographic newspaper offers a rich visual account of the rise and fall of the Islamic State.

Guests joined us for a discussion between Peter van Agtmael, its curator, David Kogan OBE, Magnum’s CEO, and Lina Khatib, Director of Chatham House’s MENA programme and author of Image Politics in the Middle East.
