PoE & ICSR Event – The ISIS Files: An Evening With Rukmini Callimachi, October 7th
24th September 2019 ICSR Team
In Events, Seminars

Where: King’s College London
When: Monday October 7th, 6.30pm

In collaboration with the Program on Extremism (PoE) at George Washington University, ICSR is delighted to invite you to a public lecture with the New York Times’ award-winning correspondent, Rukmini Callimachi.

Callimachi was embedded with the Iraqi military between 2016-17, during their campaign to reclaim territory from Islamic State. During that time, she collected over 1,600 documents with approximately 15,000 pages of internal ISIS records mostly from Mosul province.

This collection has come to be known as “The ISIS files” which PoE has agreed to digitise, translate, and publish for public consumption. As a strategic partner of PoE, ICSR will be assisting with this project.

If you would like to RSVP for this event please register here.
